A Quyn, a Hmong Christian from the Dak Ha District, Kontum Province, was arrested on November 18, 2013. He has been sentenced to nine and a half years imprisonment, under Article 87, for practising his faith without government permission. Since his arrest, local government authorities have harassed his family and brutally tortured him. He is currently imprisoned in Nam Ha Prison, Ha Nam Province, Vietnam.
