CHARGED WITH: “forming" and "membership of a group or association with the aim of disrupting national security'
On 11 December 2024, Hossein (Daniel) Mohammadi was arrested along with two others by security agents in Shahriar, Tehran Province, during a Christmas planning event.
Following a trial in July at a branch of the Revolutionary Court, Hossein Mohammadi, also known as Daniel, was sentenced to two years in prison on charges of “forming” and “membership of a group or association with the aim of disrupting national security”. He was summoned to begin serving his sentence on 16 November, 2025.
