CHARGED WITH: “forming" and "membership of a group or association with the aim of disrupting national security'
On 11 December 2024, Teymur Hosseini was arrested along with two others by security agents in Shahriar, Tehran Province, during a Christmas planning event.
Following a trial in July at a branch of the Revolutionary Court, Teymur Hosseini, who is known as Kourosh, was sentenced to two years in prison on charges of “forming” and “membership of a group or association with the aim of disrupting national security”. He was summoned to begin serving his sentence on 16 November, 2025.
According to Article 18, Kourosh is a shoemaker who has lived in Iran for around 20 years, and is married with three children.
