Update 2025
In April 2024, Mina was struggling with pain and had been unable to access the medical care she required inside Evin Prison. Mina has arthritis, and walks with a limp. Although there is no news on whether she has been provided with medical pain relief, it has been reported that prison authorities have finally provided Mina with a bed suitable for her arthritis, meaning she will no longer have to climb up to her bunk. Mina is keeping a positive attitude and is in high spirits despite the challenges she has with her health.
